Welcome to our newest Frazier Bear Counselor, Sandy Wright! You can meet her at Meet the Teacher on August 17th, from 5:30-7 pm.
A little more about Mrs. Wright:
Sandy Wright grew up in Lancaster, Texas. She attained her Bachelors of Education from Lubbock Christian University, where she also met her husband of 28 years. Upon graduation, she taught 2nd grade for three years at a year-round school. Due to her husband’s coaching career, they moved to Euless where she taught 3rd grade for four years. From 1998-2015 she taught 1st, 4th, and 5th in Mansfield with one year of that time being a homebound teacher for middle and high school. She has spent her last two years as a school counselor in Arlington at a high-needs elementary.
David and Sandy live in Rendon with their two children. Their oldest, Braden, is 24 and works at H&M. Their daughter, Holland, is 17 and will be a junior at Legacy High School in Mansfield. Filling up the rest of their home is their 4 dogs. Yes, 4 dogs! Sandy and Holland are big suckers for dogs that need a home. Some of her hobbies include swimming, traveling, and watching Netflix.
Sandy is very excited to be joining the Frazier family. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know each of you. She is definitely a counselor that’ll be in your rooms and forming relationships with your students as soon as possible.
